I'm the CEO and co-founder of CNJ Digital, a digital agency in Ljubljana, and an independent IT consultant. For more than 15 years I've been building digital products at the intersection of design, technology and business.
Mak Kordić is the CEO and co-founder of CNJ Digital, a digital agency he has led since its founding on 18 January 2012. Before that, he ran digital projects through other companies. The agency is based in Ljubljana and works with clients in Slovenia and abroad.
Over more than 15 years he has co-created 347 digital projects — from web platforms and mobile apps to AI products — for clients such as the United Nations, UNICEF, Krka, Outfit7, Atlantic Grupa and SIJ. Alongside running the agency, he works as an independent IT consultant, helping companies, organisations and the public sector plan, run and rescue IT projects.

IT consulting
Your IT project in good hands.
For larger companies, organisations and the public sector — when you need someone who understands both technology and business, so your project stands on solid ground.
Project planning
I help you set up the project brief and define scope, risks and expectations. Before you spend the first euro, you know what you're building and why.
Project management
Hands-on leadership or oversight from idea to delivery. With a structure that holds — team, vendors and deadline on the same page.
Project rescue
Project already running, but not the way it should? I step in as a consultant and we find the way back together — no panic, with a concrete plan.
At CNJ I have been involved in 300+ projects for clients such as Krka, the United Nations, Outfit7, Atlantic Grupa, SIJ and many others. I run a full-service digital agency that helps companies build better products, stronger brands and smarter digital strategies.
Turns every family walk into an interactive adventure with an AI narrator. Pick a theme (pirates, dinosaurs, space, wizards), add the kids with their names and ages and start the walk — every few minutes a new challenge appears that uses the trees, benches, puddles and stones around you. No GPS tracking, no maps — just imagination, your surroundings and a narrator in your pocket. The kids don't even notice they've been exercising.
A free parking platform for Ljubljana where people list or find private parking spaces for rent across all 17 city districts. Alongside the marketplace it brings together current parking prices, a cost calculator for daily commuters, real-time occupancy of LPT car parks and guides to Urbana and EasyPark. Everything about parking in Ljubljana in one place, with no commissions and no ads.
Abroad, loyalty programmes are everywhere — cafés, restaurants, bars. In Ljubljana they barely exist. LoyaLjubljana changes that. Every venue has an NFC sticker: tap your phone, the visit is logged and you build status — from Neighbour (0%) to Legend (15% off drinks). No cards, no points, no sign-up. The idea: venues reward loyal regulars, not one-off visitors or tourists. Currently in beta at selected Ljubljana venues.
An app that helps households understand and follow Slovenia's electricity tariff system in a simple way. It shows the current tariff period, explains the pricing logic and aims to reduce confusion, stress and bad decisions about energy use.
A product for reducing screen time and social media addiction. It combines a mobile app with physical NFC tags — tap a tag to lock away distractions. The physical barrier creates a deliberate pause and helps you take back control of your time.
An AI platform for intelligent optimisation of HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Its algorithms forecast occupancy, weather and energy prices up to 24 hours ahead and cut energy costs by more than 15%. It is built on digital-twin technology and backed by EU NextGenerationEU funding.
A web app that creates personalised phone wallpapers with essential travel information, always visible on the lock screen. Instant currency conversion, emergency numbers, tipping tips and local phrases — one glance is enough.

Relationship tech
DecodeHer
An app for men that offers practical, cycle-based insights into their partner's emotional and physical state. It turns hormonal patterns into concrete communication tips — not vague relationship wisdom.
A behaviour-change app that locks selected distracting apps until you reach your daily step goal. Movement becomes the gatekeeper for screen time — simple, slightly evil and probably effective.
A digital assistant for older people, built around simple step-by-step instructions created by younger family members. Older people don't need more technology — they need clearer help with the technology they already have.
A direct-sales app where farmers announce when meat products are available and customers order straight from them. It reduces friction between small producers and customers and makes local produce easier to discover and buy.
A SaaS platform that brings AI chatbot support to municipalities and public institutions, for both public and internal use. Fewer repetitive questions for staff, faster access to information for citizens and less bureaucratic friction.
Most sales training happens once and fades fast. Sales Coach AI turns practice into a habit — reps role-play difficult calls, negotiate with a simulated buyer who pushes back and get instant feedback. For teams it creates a shared baseline: everyone practises the same scenarios, improves together and progress is measurable.

Physical postcards with a QR code that unlocks digital content — videos, photos, audio or files. The idea is to make traditional mail emotionally richer: a simple card becomes a time-delayed or location-bound digital experience.

Opremi ga
AI virtual staging for apartments on sale or for rent. Upload up to five photos of empty or untidy rooms, pick one of six styles, and the app furnishes every room in a consistent look. Buyers can picture a home, not just empty walls.
An AI tool for improving photos in sales listings. You can give a photo of a vehicle or any other item a new background, add people, or add a scene that shows it in use. A before/after comparison helps create a listing that stands out among similar ones.
Answers to the questions I hear most often before a first call.
Who is Mak Kordić?
I'm the CEO and co-founder of the CNJ Digital agency in Ljubljana, with more than 15 years of experience building digital products. Alongside running the agency, I advise companies, organisations and the public sector on planning, running and rescuing IT projects. I have co-created more than 347 digital products for clients such as the United Nations, UNICEF, Krka, Outfit7 and Atlantic Grupa.
What services do you offer as an IT consultant?
Three core ones: project planning (setting up the brief, defining scope and risks before the first euro is spent), project management (from idea to delivery, with a structure that keeps the team and deadlines together) and project rescue (stepping in as a consultant on a project that isn't going to plan). The point is that the client gets someone who understands both technology and business.
Who is your consulting for?
For larger companies, organisations and the public sector that don't have in-house IT experts or need an independent view of an existing project. Typically the project is complex, the budget is significant and the client can't afford for things to go wrong.
How much does an IT consultant cost in Slovenia?
The price depends on the scope, duration and complexity of the engagement. As a guide: a smaller consulting engagement (concept review, setting up the brief) starts at a few thousand euros, while longer project management is agreed based on scope. The first consultation is free — contact me at mak@kordic.eu.
What's the difference between an IT consultant and an IT contractor?
A contractor builds (writes code, designs, develops). A consultant helps set up correctly what gets built, why and how. Ideally you have both: a consultant who sets up the project and a contractor who delivers it. I cover the consulting side; for delivery I often work with my team at CNJ Digital, or the client chooses their own contractor.
When do I need an IT consultant?
When you're not sure exactly what you need. When you have a quote from a contractor but don't know if it's realistic. When a project is already running, but not the way it should. Or when you're preparing a larger IT investment and want an independent opinion before signing the contract. In short: when the stakes are high enough that you can't afford the wrong decision.
How does working together start?
We start with a free 30-minute call where I understand your situation and assess whether I'm the right person to help. If I am, I prepare a proposal with a concrete scope, timeline and price. No presentations, no sales pressure.
Do you only work with Slovenian clients?
No. CNJ Digital is based in Ljubljana but also works with international clients. As a consultant I work mostly with Slovenian companies and the public sector, because that's where my added value (understanding the local context) is greatest.
